Claim cards: 2, 3, 5, 7, "skip" in 3 colours each (total 15 cards)

Eggs: 50 plastic chips

Amber: 3 yellow glass stones

Goal of the game

The score is calculated after 10 rounds. If a bag contains the correct amount of eggs, the player will get as many points; if there are too few the points are halved, and if there are too many, the bag breaks and the eggs are lost. Amber will also yield points, and the player with the most points at the end wins.

Preparations

Shuffle all the egg cards, and then remove 2 cards at random and put back in the box. The rest is put as a face down draw deck in the middle of the play area.

Each player chooses a colour (red, blue or yellow) and takes the corresponding bag and claim cards. The bag cards are lined up face up in front of each player, and the claim cards are held in each players hand, not to be seen by the other players.

The egg chips and the amber stones are placed in the middle of the play area.

Start of a round

The player who most recently cracked an egg is the revealer. The revealer is the one who reveals the top egg card of the deck at the start of each round.

How to gather eggs

If the drawn card is a numbered egg card, the number signifies how many eggs are available this round. Then, each player decides if he wants eggs or not, and chooses a claim card and puts it forward, face down. If he wants eggs, he puts forward the card with the bag number he wants to put the eggs in; if he doesn't want any eggs, he puts forward the "skip" card.

When all players have put forward a face down claim card, all are revealed at the same time.

All players who revealed a numbered claim card share the eggs so that everyone gets an equal amount (rounded down). If all players who chose "skip", no one gets any eggs. All eggs are taken from the central bank, and are placed onto the bag card with the same number as the claim card the player played.

Example: The egg card says 9 eggs. The players played 7,5 and "skip" respectively. As two players wanted eggs, they get 4 eggs each. The players' 4 eggs are put on the "7" bag and the "5" bag respectively.

Breaking bags

The number of each bag signifies how many eggs the bag can hold. It may happen, as a result of sharing eggs, that a bag gets more eggs than it can hold. If that happens, the bag breaks and all eggs in it are crushed!

First, the player puts back all the eggs from the bag that broke. Then, put down the claim card with the same number, face down, on top of the bag card. The bag is broken and neither the bag nor the claim card can be used again in the game.

How to get amber

If the drawn card is an amber card, the players put forward a claim card of their choice, just as if an egg had been drawn. Once the cards have been revealed, if only one player played "skip", only that player gets an amber from the central pile. Amber is not put in the bags, but is kept beside them, and they cannot be lost. If two or all three players played "skip", no one gets the amber, and players who played something else than "skip" gets nothing.

Round end

When it has been determined who gets the eggs/amber, the claim cards that players used this round stay face up before each player and may not be used the next round. From the second round and onwards, the cards used the previous round is returned to the players' hands.

If all bags break…

It's very unlikely to happen, but if all a player's bag break, that player is out of the game; continue the game on the remaining two players.

Victory conditions and score calculation

The game ends after 10 rounds. Each player checks their bags. All bags that are completely full are worth as many points as it can carry eggs. (So if the 7 bag has 7 egggs, i's worth 7 points).

Bags that have less eggs than they can carry are worth half as many points as they have eggs, rounded down. (Example: If the 5 bag has only 3 eggs, it's worth only 1 point).

All amber are worth 4 points each.

The player with the most total points wins. (Example below)

Example: the "2" bag is full with 2 eggs (2 points), the "3" bag holds 1 egg (half rounded down = 0 points), the "5" bag holds 2 eggs (half rounded down = 1 point), the "7" bag holds 2 eggs (half rounded down = 1 point), and there is 1 amber (4 points): 2 + 0 + 1 + 1 + 4 = 8 points.
