Components
- 10 Galactic North Bonus Tiles.
- The tiles are printed with the numbers 4, 3, 3, 2, 2, 2, 2, 1, 1 and 1. The rules sheet does not explain these numbers; they appear only on the tile artwork.
Preparations
Shuffle the Bonus Tiles. Take random tiles, one more than the number of players, and place them all face up in the supply.
Rules
You may move Ships (with the Move action) out of the game board through a wormhole on the board edge. These Ships are immediately en route to the Galactic North. When you move the Ship out, check the travel time based on the Ship's Drive total (see table below) and place the Ship model next to the corresponding round space on the round track. If the Ship would go past the 9th round, you cannot move the Ship. At the beginning of that round, in player order, take your Ship(s) and place them on the Bonus Tile(s) of your choice. As soon as Ship moves out, its Drive total is fixed -- it does not change if the blueprint later changes.
Each tile may only hold one or two Ships, depending on the tile, and they must belong to the same player. If you fill the tile, place it next to your player board. Keep the Ship(s) on the tile until the end of the game. At the end of the game, you score the VP for the tiles you have.
Travel Time
| Drive total | Rounds |
|---|---|
| 1 | 8 |
| 2 | 4 |
| 3 | 3 |
| 4–7 | 2 |
| 8+ | 1 |
Example
Red Interceptors have a Drive total of 2, giving them a travel time of 4 rounds. If they move out now, on round 2, they arrive on round 6. Green Interceptors' Drive total is only 1, so they cannot move out.
