Setup
Shuffle all weather cards together to form a weather deck, placing it near the fauna board within view of all players.
Round Start
At the beginning of each round, before the first player chooses an action, draw the top card of the weather deck, maintaining its faceup orientation, and place it to the right of the weather deck.
Weather Effects
There are two kinds of weather effect:
- Round effect: The event is in effect during all players' turns this round.
- End of round effect: The effect happens at the end of the last player's turn (in turn order).
Round End
The weather card that was in play is flipped to the reverse side and returned to the bottom of the weather deck.
Clarifications
Ability colour restrictions: If an ability colour is restricted, it applies to activating all card abilities. Actions (Planting, Composting, Watering, or Growing) may still be chosen.
Gaining Growth pieces: Unlike Sprouts, Growth pieces cannot be stored.
Unlimited activation: May be activated on any turn, any time, by any number of players, any number of times.
Upcoming weather: Players will know what the weather effect will be in the upcoming round, allowing them to adapt their strategies accordingly.
Weather events are universal: Weather effects affect all players every turn.
Weather Cards
The weather deck has 12 double-sided cards, 24 weather effects in total. Each card shows a Round effect on one side and an End of round effect on the other. Icons in card text are shown here as bracketed descriptions (for example [triangle icon]) because the glyphs could not be identified from any legible English source.

The German text reads: "Bei Rundenende – Alle dürfen +2 [icon] : +1 [triangle icon] pro [icon] in ihrem Raster." Translated: at the end of the round, each player may +2 [icon] : +1 [triangle icon] per [icon] in their grid. The icon glyphs are not identified.

Weather cards: gaps and sources
- Not legible in any English photo: Sunny, Sun Shower, Gust Fronts (effect text), the reverse side of Clear Skies, Haboob, Downpour, Thunderstorm, Squall, Derecho, Snowstorm, Low Humidity, Damp, and the unnamed discard card. The reverse side of Hoar Frost is taken from the German card.
- German card names (reference only; effect text not transcribed except as noted above): Gewitter (Thunderstorm), Niedrige Luftfeuchtigkeit (Low Humidity), Bedeckt, Sturmböe (Squall), Hitzewelle, Dürre, Inversion, Landbrise, Rauchig, Niederschlag (Downpour), Eisnebel (Hoar Frost reverse), Derecho. The German card photo shows only the front names for these; several other English names above could not be matched to a German name, so they are not paired.
- Derecho: the English card's flavour text and the German card's flavour text give different length figures, so flavour is omitted here. The rule text itself is consistent between the two.
- Flavour text is left out throughout, following the house convention.
- The gaps above mean that this rulebook is not a complete transcription of all 24 weather effects. The missing effects must be checked against a full set of cards or the official insert before this rulebook is treated as complete.
