- 30 Theme Cards
- 5 Types of Item, 5 each
- 1 Ghost Piece
- 21 Bells
Game Objective
Quickly drop ONLY the necessary lucky charms. The fastest player to drop the items can eliminate the ghost and earn a bell. If you collect 5 bells, you win.
Set-up
- Turn all of the theme cards face down and mix them well. Place them face down in a pile somewhere that all of the players can see.
- Stand up the ghost piece in the middle of the play area somewhere that all of the players can reach.
- Place all of the bells in the middle of the play area.
- Each player takes 1 of each item and places them in the palm of one of their hands. Any leftover pieces will not be used, so please return them to the box.
- Choose a starting player.
Start Searching for Items
- Close both hands around the items and move them up and down to mix up the items well.
- Hold all of the items in one of your hands. Turn your hand over so that the back of your hand is facing up. You are not allowed to look inside your hand or move your fingers at this time.
- The starting player turns over 1 theme card from the pile with their free hand and places it face up next to the pile. The items shown on this card are this round's needed items.
- When the theme card is turned over, at the same time, all players turn their palms up, and using one hand only, try to drop only the items shown on the theme card.
- If you are able to only drop all of the needed items, grab the ghost piece with your other hand (the hand that is not holding any of the items).
- The player that grabs the ghost piece wins the round and takes 1 of the bells from the middle of the play area and places it into their palm with the other items.
- The round is now over. Return the ghost piece to the middle of the play area. All players return their dropped items to their palms. The winner of the round becomes the new starting player. Begin the next round from "Start Searching for Items."
Oh No! I Dropped a Not-Needed Item or Bell
Any players that drop any not-needed items or bells must search for their items again. Return any dropped bells to the middle of the play area. Return all the items to their palm, including any needed items. After mixing them well in both hands, hold them in one hand and begin searching for the correct items again. Bells that are dropped at any time during the game are lost.
If a player grabs the ghost piece even after dropping the wrong items, the ghost piece is immediately returned to the middle of the play area. If they are holding any bells, they must return 1 of them to the middle of the play area. If they aren't holding any bells, they won't receive any penalty, however, they should be careful in the next round. After the ghost piece is returned to the middle, the other players will resume playing the round again.
Ending the Game
At the end of a round, if a player has 5 bells, or the pile has run out of cards, the game ends. The more bells a player has, the higher their final ranking. If any players have the same amount of bells, they draw.
Advanced Rules
While searching for the correct items, you must not look inside your hands, and must search for the items by feeling only. The rest of the rules are the same as the standard rules.
