Components

  • A ship with 3 masts;
  • A sea wave made of 2 parts;
  • 16 daring penguin pirates.

Goal of the Game

Place your pirates so that the ship does not capsize!

Setup

  • Assemble the pieces of the wave together and place them on the table.
  • Insert the masts into the holes in the hull of the ship. That is how all real pirates do it.
  • Set the assembled ship on the wave. Now you are ready to sail!
  • Give each player their penguin pirates. Yeehaw, this will be a boarding crew!

Two players: each player takes 8 penguin pirates.

Three players: each player takes 5 penguin pirates, and the remaining penguins are set aside.

Four players: each player takes 4 pirates. Yo-ho-ho!

Play

  • The youngest player makes the first move. They place their penguin pirate on the ship. From this moment the deck begins to tilt dangerously.
  • The next player, clockwise, places one of their penguins on the ship. Penguins like to sit on the lookout post at the top of the mast, and on the deck, and they can even be hung by their bandana on the crossbar! Pirates may do anything they want on the ship, but just don't rock the deck!
  • If someone rocks the ship and at least one pirate falls overboard, the game ends. Because wet penguins get offended and immediately stop being pirates.

If penguins fall but not overboard, keep playing. The game ends only when at least one penguin has fallen overboard into the sea.

Winning

The player who placed their penguin pirate before another player capsized the ship becomes the winner. As a true pirate, they must immediately shout "Arrrr!" cheerfully and loudly.

After the Game

All parts must be put back in the box: the masts and the penguins go under the ship, and the wave goes on the right, as shown in the picture.
