Game board, 12 building blocks, Catapult with ball, Ramp with ball, Pendulum with ball, 8 scoring pegs (including 4 spare pegs).
Playing
Play proceeds in rounds. Each round has one Builder and three Destructors.
- Player 1 (Builder): Build a tower or other structure in the Black center of the board. You must use all 12 blocks [sic: printed "muse"] and can use only 2 blocks (we call them Starting Blocks) as the Base.
- Player 2 (Destructor): Roll the dice to determine what tool you will use. Anchor the tool in the hole of your choice. You then get one try (using only your tool) to knock all the pieces into the destruction zone (platform). Score your hit and remove the fallen blocks.
- Player 3 (Destructor): Same as Player 2.
- Player 4 (Destructor): Same as Player 3.
After the round is over, Player 1 counts his or her score. A new round then starts with Player 2 being the new Builder. Players 3-1 [sic: as printed] are the Destructors, and so on.
Scoring
Move your peg one hole for each point. You do not need an exact score to reach the Finish.
Destructors get:
- 2 pts for each fallen block in or touching black square
- 1 pt for fallen block in green square
- 0 pts for blocks outside green
- -5 pts for blocks outside board
- -1 pt for starting block outside black
- 0 pts for starting block inside black
Builder gets:
- 0 pts for starting blocks inside black
- 1 pt for each non starting block still stacked
"What If" Rules
Points are awarded only to blocks that touch the destruction zone platform. Blocks that fall off but become stacked get nothin' [sic]. Leaning blocks are considered stacked and get nothin' [sic].
Tips
- The Ramp is strong, but can also knock blocks off the game board.
- The Pendulum is easy to misdrop, and you only get one shot.
- The catapult is a great destructor but too much force can overshoot, and you only get one shot.
Note (from the uploaded sheet): the catapult tip was not printed on the original copy of the instructions and was included for fairness.
Illustrated Guide
The sheet's graphics carry these captions:
- Two pieces of any shape can be used for the "Base". These do not count as points. All twelve pieces must be used to build a tower.
- Scoring peg is moved one hole for each point.
- The builder gets one point for each piece remaining stacked on top of the base pieces after all three players have tried to knock it down. There are no points for base pieces.
- The Dice tells the destructor which tool to use.
- Step 1 and Step 3 score diagrams show the scoring zones labelled: 2 Point Score (black), 1 Point Score (green), "0" Point Score (outside green), and -5 Point Score (off the board).
