Descent: Journeys in the Dark Hero Card

Jonas the Kind

• Stats (icons as printed, unlabelled on the card): heart 16, flame 4, blue shield 0, green boot 5.
• Traits: red sword icon with 2 dice; blue bow icon; grey key-like icon with 1 die.
• Starting Skills: shield with crossed axe and spear 2; helmet with sword 0; plumed helmet 1.
• Hero Ability: Jonas' equipment cannot be destroyed. If Jonas reduces a monster to exactly 1 wound with an attack, it surrenders. (Treat it as killed, ignoring Undying.)

The card's corner badge shows the number 3. The card does not print a label for it.

Runebound Promo Hero Card

Jonas the Kind

• Stats (icons as printed): red fist 4, green 2, blue open book 1, heart with 4 wounds.
• Hero Ability: When this hero ends his Quest Phase in an area containing a city, you gain 1 influence.
• Ability icon: Deal [icon not identified from the scan].

The card has a gold orb icon at the bottom of the text box, followed by the words "Deal" and an icon. The scan does not make that last icon legible enough to name, so it is left as shown.

Runebound Hero Card (German, translated)

Jonas der Gütige, printed on the German card; translated here as Jonas the Kind.

• Stats (icons as printed): red fist 4, green 2, blue open book 1, heart with 4 wounds. These match the English Runebound promo card above.
• Hero Ability: When this hero ends his Quest Phase in an area containing a city, you gain 1 influence.
• Ability icon: Deal [icon not identified from the scan].

Translation note: the German original reads "Wenn dieser Held seine Questphase in einem Gebiet mit einer Stadt beendet, erhältst du 1 Einflussmarker." and "Füge [icon] zu." The English card text above is the printed English version and governs. The German card is included as a cross-check for the translation of the ability.
