New Components

  • 1 new Hero card (1 Hero: "Springminen"-Betty)
  • 1 die-cut sheet (1 Hero, 4 regular Zeds, 1 Hit marker, 1 Memory marker)
  • 9 new Event cards
  • 4 new Story cards

How to Use This Expansion

Add this expansion's cards and markers to your game. The new regular Zeds are likewise added to the Zeds Cup with the other regular Zeds during setup. Nothing else needs to be considered.

New Rules

The new Event cards have 3 new activation options in the Zeds Phase:

  • +1 Other: After you have resolved all regular activations, activate 1 additional track of your choice that has not already been activated in this Zeds Phase.
  • Only to/from Start spaces: You do not activate whole tracks, only the Zeds that are on Start spaces. The Zeds move only away from the Start spaces. No new Zeds are placed on empty Start spaces.
  • Fewest Zeds x2: Check which track currently has the fewest Zeds on it. Activate that track 2x. (You do not check again after each activation, only at the beginning of the phase.)

Farmingdale Dossier, Appendix 2

The FBI, Special Section Farmingdale, under the direction of Special Agent Wright, has decided to grant you access to a further entry of the Farmingdale Dossier. Classification: Confidential (not declassified). An increase in local Zed activity has been registered. Utmost caution is advised.

Heroes

"Springminen"-Betty (Hero card)

Ruthless: Hand-to-hand combat with Betty is very unusual. Depending on whether she has full or reduced Strength, the combat column you use changes. Note: the ability explicitly says combat column, not Start column. For Betty, any column shifts have no effect, because those are applied to the Start column. Other effects (those that give more dice, change the dice results, etc.) can still be used.

Headless: It makes no difference whether she is the attacker or the defender. If she wins a Hand-to-hand combat, she moves on immediately. This is not optional. You keep doing this until she loses a Hand-to-hand combat or enters a space without Zeds. If she must move on, she likewise does not have to follow the effects of a Destroyed Bridge, a Ferry or a space with a Chaos marker, unless she would end her movement there.

However, note this: each Hand-to-hand combat increases [skull icon] by 1, so this can quickly become dangerous.

Transcription Notes

  • The 9 Event cards and the 4 Story cards are listed in the component list of the source, but their text is not printed in the source document. Their text is therefore not transcribed here.
  • The hero name is kept as printed in the German source, "Springminen"-Betty. The English card name was not available in this source, and "Springminen" is not translated, so as not to guess a name.
  • Component names (Hero card, die-cut sheet, Hit marker, Memory marker, Zeds Cup) follow the terms used in the Dawn of the Zeds (Third Edition) base rulebook where a base-game term exists.
  • The copyright, credits and imprint block printed on the sheet is not transcribed.
