Shuffle the city cards. Give each player 4 city cards from each of the groups A, B, C and D – 16 cards in total. You must visit all the cities assigned to you during the game. When you visit a city, you hand in its city card. Therefore plan a sensible route so that you reach all your assigned cities as quickly as possible. You must finish in the same city where you started.
-
Shuffle the question cards and the chance cards and place them in separate piles beside the game board.
-
Take turns rolling the die and moving exactly as many spaces on the board as the die shows. You may move forward, backward or sideways – but always in the same direction for each roll. Only in the cities where you cannot go any further, e.g. Hanstholm and Skagen, may you move both forward and backward in the same roll.
-
Some cities are marked with a star. If you land here, you must take a chance card. The chance cards tell you, for example, whether you get an extra roll, a plane ticket or a ferry ticket/bridge toll, or whether you must be skipped the next time it is your turn. Chance cards with a plane ticket or a ferry ticket/bridge toll may be kept until you need them.
-
To fly, sail or cross the Storebælt Bridge you must roll a 1 or a 5 – unless you have a chance card that applies to a plane ticket or a ferry ticket/bridge toll. You can only take the plane, the ferry or cross the Storebælt Bridge if, by a die roll, you have ended up in a city with an airport, a harbour or a bridge.
-
If you roll a 6, you must stay in the city you are standing in and take a question card from the pile. One of your opponents reads the question aloud to you. If you answer incorrectly, you must stay where you are and wait until the next time it is your turn to roll. If you answer correctly, you keep the question card and move the number of spaces shown on the card. The 6 that was rolled does not count. Each time you have received 3 question cards for correct answers, you get an extra roll.
-
To visit a city (and be able to hand in the matching city card) you must roll exactly the number of pips that equals the distance to the city. If you e.g. stand 4 spaces from Lemvig, you must roll 4. Two game pieces may not stand in the same city. So if a game piece is already in the city, you must instead stop at the nearest city.
-
The first player to have visited all their assigned cities (and handed in all their city cards) and returned to the city where they started has won.
God tur og god fornøjelse! (Good luck and have fun!)
