Game Contents

400 cards with 2,400 questions and answers, a game board, 6 pawns, 36 double-sided tokens, a die, and these rules.

Goal of the Game

In this game you try to answer questions correctly from six different categories. You move your pawn on the board, and the space you end on determines the category of the question you will answer. If you answer correctly, you receive a token showing the map in the colour of that category.

The goal is to collect six tokens in six different colours. Once you have collected them and answered the final question, which your fellow players select for you, you become the winner.

Question Cards

The questions are divided into six categories: history, culture, nature/technology/science, geography, sport, and miscellaneous. Each card contains one question from each of the six categories. The categories are marked on the cards and on the tokens. They are also marked on the spaces of the board (Figure 1).

The correct answer to each question is printed on the back of the card. Each answer has three variants (a, b, c), but only the variant printed in bold is correct. Agree in advance whether you will use these answer variants during the game. You can either let the answering player choose from the three variants, or require them to give the exact correct answer.

Setup

Shuffle the question cards thoroughly and place the deck next to the board, with the questions face up.

Each player chooses one pawn and places it on one of the corner spaces of the board (Figure 2). More than one pawn may stand on the same space.

The starting player is the one who rolled the highest number on the die. The other players continue clockwise.

Playing the Game

On your turn, roll the die and move your pawn on the board by the number rolled. The space where your pawn ends its movement determines the category from which a question will be read. If your pawn ends on one of the corner spaces, you may choose which category to answer.

The player to your left then takes a question card from the bottom of the deck and reads the question of the relevant category aloud.

If you answer incorrectly, your turn ends and play passes to the player on your left.

If you answer correctly, you receive a token in the colour of the relevant category and place it in front of you. Your turn ends and play continues with the player on your left.

If you answer correctly a question from a category for which you already have a token, you do not receive another token. Instead, you gain a new move. Roll the die again and move your pawn by the number rolled. The player to your left then draws another question card and reads the question that corresponds to the category of the space where your pawn ends this move. In this way you may continue your turn for as long as you keep answering correctly.

At the end of the turn, the question card that was used is removed from the game and placed next to the board on a discard pile.

Path to Victory

Once you have obtained a token from each of the six categories, you may head to one of the corner spaces of your choice.

On the way, you may answer questions as usual, using the option of an extra move for a correct answer. On a corner space you may stop even if you roll a higher number and would otherwise pass it.

From your next turn on, you no longer roll the die. Instead you move to the first question space in the direction of the map in the centre of the board. You may now advance further only by answering a question correctly from the category of the space you are standing on.

If you answer correctly, move your pawn one space towards the centre of the board, and your turn ends. You will only answer the next question, from the category where your pawn now stands, in the next round.

If you answer incorrectly, your turn ends. Your pawn stays where it is, and the player to your left plays. In the next round you will again answer a question from the same category.

Winner of the Game

If you have answered correctly the questions on both spaces between the corner space and the map in the centre of the board, move your pawn onto the map (Figure 3). In the next round you will answer the final question, which your fellow players select for you from a new card.

If you answer incorrectly on your turn, your pawn stays on the central map, and in the next round you will again answer a question chosen by your fellow players.

If you answer the final question correctly, you become the winner of the game.
