Grappling Hook Card

Grappling Hook (×2)

• Who: The player who left the ship this round (but did not transfer to the shuttle).
• When: The Captain has announced that the journey will continue.
• Effect: The player who played the card returns to the ship. If, having left the ship, the player received a treasure, they must return it to the treasure deck.

Notes on the Card

• The card is listed in the Bonuses of the Big Box rules as "2 Grappling Hook cards" (Абордажный крюк).
• The card's Special Rule is printed on page 12 under the Boscalumia entry, not in the card entry itself. It is reproduced here because it restricts when this card can be played:
  • Special Rule (as printed, translated): When the ship is in the space between Barbadal and Boscalumia, the passengers cannot leave it, and the cards "Jetpack", "Grappling Hook", "Landing" and "Mooring" cannot be used.
• The page 12 Boscalumia rules are otherwise part of the base game's Lost City and Boscalumia content and are not transcribed here.
