Furnishings go on empty caverns, ore mines on two adjacent tunnels, large pastures on two adjacent meadows, ruby mines on a tunnel or deep tunnel, and the Trader and Spare Part Storage over each other. Nothing else stacks: single tunnel and cavern tiles go only on empty mountain spaces, never over tiles already placed.
