Does building a stable on a boar preserve or water source forest space give me the boar or food?
Several players quote the rulebook pages saying the reward needs a covering tile.

No. The wild boar or food reward is only given when the space is covered with a tile such as a meadow or field. A stable there can hold one boar but triggers nothing.
