New Ammo

Game Setup: Each player gets one Smelly Fish, one Beehive and one Dice Ammo.

Game Play: When using the catapult you may load one of the new ammo instead of a boulder, fire it and resolve its unique effect.

Smelly fish: This ammo is tricky - it bounces and demands precise aiming! In addition to any damage it may cause when it hits, it releases a "stench" so strong that the troops within a distance of 2, FAINT and are removed from play!

Beehive: Load a beehive into your weapon for maximum buzz! When you hit your opponent's bricks, the bees chase their troops! You can then move up to 3 of your opponent's troops to new valid spots, following the Troop Placement Rules.

Dice ammo: Swap out the boulder for the custom dice this round. In addition to any damage it may cause, if it lands face-up with one of these symbols, here's what happens:

  • Double shot: Immediately fire an extra boulder at your opponent's castle.
  • Boomerang: Brace yourself - your opponent gets to fire a boulder back at you!

The Royals Mode

Game Setup: Each player receives one yellow base and attaches it to one of their troops. From now on, this troop is part of the Royal family and has the special ability described below.

Royal Maneuver: At the beginning of your turn, you may move your Royal once to a new valid location (following the Troop Placement Rules).

Defend the Royal Mode: For a more challenging game, you may apply the following rule at the beginning of your turn: If your Royal is not in play, you may take them from the box and place them in a new valid location following the Troop Placement Rules. This effectively means that the Royal must be the last troop removed for you to lose the game!

The Moat

Game Setup: During setup, each player receives a Moat to place in front of their player board. The Moat includes a bridge that must have a Gate adjacent on both sides.

Game Play: When using the Moat, you can build a single wall in front of it, effectively expanding your building area and adding an extra layer of defense to your fortress.

In addition to its defensive capabilities, you can place one of your 5 warriors on the bridge as a guard. At the beginning of your turn, if the guard is standing on the bridge, you can repair the wall beyond the Moat by replacing/rebuilding 1 brick.

The Throne Room

Game Setup: Build the Throne Room on your player board by laying 3 bricks, flat, adjacent to each other. Place the Throne Room card on the bricks, golden side facing up. Place 1 warrior on the throne.

Game Play: At the start of your turn, if your warrior is on the throne, you may rebuild/replace 2 bricks in your castle. Play according to the "Quick Play" or "Advance Game" rules with the following additions. The first time you warrior is knocked over or off the throne, flip the Throne Room card and place the warrior/troop back on the throne. The second time the warrior is knocked over or off the throne, you lose the game!

3 or 4 Player Setup

If you have a second base game or if you have both Catapult Feud and Jurassic Feud, you can play with more than two players. The publisher's sheet shows the setup for a 3-Player and a 4-Player game (diagrams not transcribed). When you attack another player, they should put their Distance Marker in front of their castle, that means that nobody can attack them. If, at the beginning of your turn, all opponents have a Distance Marker in front of their castle, they all remove it, so that they can be attacked again.
