Brief Game Overview
Instead of the desert found in the base game, this scenario features a "gold mine" that produces valuable resources.
Game Components
- To play this scenario, you need all game pieces and cards from the base game.
Preparation
Put the game mat and all game pieces and cards from the base game on the table. Place the robber beside the game mat. All of the base game rules apply to this scenario, with the following exceptions:
- The robber enters the game as soon as the first "7" is rolled.
- If you have a settlement or city adjacent to a gold mine, you receive any 1 resource of your choice for the settlement or any 2 resources of the same type or different types for the city.
End of the Game
The first player to reach 10 victory points on his or her turn wins the game.
