Board Layout

The board is a circular playing surface set into a spinning base, ringed by pockets. Two reference lines cross the playing surface:

  • Break Line — the line where the striker starts on the very first shot of the game, and where it returns after certain fouls.
  • Margin Line — the inner boundary line near the pockets.

The striker is the counter each player flicks to hit the other counters ("pucks") into the pockets.

Setup

  • Place all of the red pucks on the triangle in the middle of the board.
  • Place all of the other (colored) pucks on their matching color space on the break line.
  • The game is for 2-4 players. Four players should play in two teams of two, sitting opposite your partner.

On the Very First Shot of the Game

  • Place the striker anywhere on the break line.
  • Flick the striker (using any method you wish) using only one hand.
  • You must sink a RED puck on your first shot.
    • If you succeed, go again!
    • If you fail, your turn is over (but not a foul).

Every Other Turn

Each player alternates between sinking a red puck and a non-red puck. The striker starts wherever it landed on the previous shot. Spin the board to help you line up the perfect shot.

  • If you succeed, go again!
  • If you tap your target puck but fail to sink anything, your turn is over (but not a foul).

Sinking a red puck: Every red puck is worth 1 point. Red pucks are then removed from the game. If the striker hits another color before any red, that is a foul.

Sinking a colored (non-red) puck: When you need to sink a non-red puck, announce which color you are aiming for FIRST. Sinking a color you did not announce is a foul. Colored pucks are worth between 2-7 points (see the Scoring section below). If a colored puck is sunk for any reason, return it to its starting space.

Fouls

If any of the following happens, you have fouled, your turn is over, AND the next player gets a bonus shot:

  • You do not hit ANYTHING at all.
  • You sink the wrong color puck.
  • You hit a colored puck first when trying to sink a red puck.
  • You sink the striker (the next player starts the striker anywhere on the break line).
  • Any piece (puck or striker) flies off the board completely. To reset:
    • Striker: the next player puts it anywhere on the break line.
    • Red puck: remove it from the game for 0 points.
    • Colored puck: place it back on its starting space for 0 points.

Bonus Shot

If the person before you fouled, you get a bonus shot! You can use it anytime on your turn, but you have to attempt the same puck as your previous shot.

Scoring

Each puck color is worth a fixed point value:

ColorPoints
Red1
Yellow2
Green3
Brown4
Blue5
Pink6
Black7

End of the Game

When the last red puck is sunk, a final round begins. Every colored puck must be sunk once, in the following order: yellow, green, brown, blue, pink, and black. These pucks are removed from the game when sunk.

Add up everyone's points - the person with the most points wins!
