Components
3 double sided Track Benefit tiles.
Side A
Changes in Setup
Shuffle the Track Benefit tiles and place all of them randomly on the topmost spots (one per track) on the Civilization Board.
Changes in Game Play
First player to reach the topmost spot on a given track gets the associated tile.
All acquired tiles can be used at any time during your turn. After use, discard the tile back to the box.
Solo Rules
When you use one of the tiles Scribbles takes cards:

Side B
Changes in Setup
Place the Track Benefit tiles on the corresponding tracks on the Civilization Board.
(The sheet's wording refers to the board's printed benefit symbol here as a grey "?"-roofed tag icon; the sheet does not spell it out in words.)
Changes in Game Play
Treat each tile benefit as if it was printed on the board instead of the benefit symbol shown in the Changes in Setup section above.
Solo Rules
Your scoring objective just became easier to accomplish! Subtract 8 points from it.
Appendix
The appendix shows every face's icons with its effect.
Side A
- Chronicle tile: Use the Chronicle. You can use the same effect you have already used this turn, or the second one.
- Book tile: Choose a book. Gain 1VP per page you have written in that book. (Icon: a 1 VP coin followed by the green, yellow and red book symbols.)
- Objective tile: You can advance an objective or return one of the previously discarded objectives tiles back to its corresponding stack. (Icon: a plus-marked objective card, a slash, and a discarded objective card marked with a red X.)
Side B
- Green writing tile: When you reach this spot on the Civilization board write one page and gain the benefit for writing. (or skip the effect and advance an objective)
- Pink science tile: When you reach this spot on the Civilization board take one chosen science token. These tokens are considered limited. (or skip the effect and advance an objective) (Icon: four science symbols separated by slashes, shown as the four science token icons.)
- Yellow card tile: When you reach this spot on the Civilization board take two chosen cards from the discard pile. (or skip the effect and advance an objective) (Icon: two plus-marked cards, each with a red X.)
