The Monk's protection from the Demon covers harmful Demon effects, so the Pukka can't poison a protected player, and a poison already on a player is removed if the Monk protects them. The Pukka's earlier victim still dies on the night it acts. The Innkeeper protects against the death without lifting the poison, which clears when the Pukka acts.
