If the Storyteller bounces the Demon's kill onto the Soldier or a protected player, do they die?
No. The Mayor's almanac entry says that if you redirect the attack to a dead player, the Soldier or a Monk-protected player, that player doesn't die that night. The Storyteller chooses the new target.
