Can day abilities like the Slayer's shot be used after an execution is declared?
Best reading: usually not. The rulebook calls the day effectively over after an execution, and many Storytellers allow only execution-triggered abilities such as the Moonchild's or Klutz's. Others note the day ends only when the Storyteller declares it, so last-moment actions can be allowed; an alive Slayer can shoot just before being executed. Say your policy before the game.
