Overview
Bisikle is a flicking race game built around the ZBall, a special weighted marble. Players build their own bicycle-shaped race track out of straight and curved track pieces, obstacles and fences, then take turns flicking the ZBall along the track with their bicycle figure (BiSikle) riding along behind it. The first player whose BiSikle crosses the finish line wins.
Ages 5 and up. 1 to 4 players.
Components
57 pieces in total:
- 10 straight track pieces
- 16 curved track pieces
- 4 BiSikle bicycle figures (one each in green, blue, yellow and red), each with its rider
- 4 small flags
- 1 jump (red ramp)
- 1 tunnel (red)
- 10 fence pieces (red)
- 10 pillars
- 1 ZBall
The ZBall
The ZBall is the secret behind the game: inside the ball are ball-trapping cells holding 10 loose microbeads. The shifting weight of the microbeads makes the ZBall behave unpredictably as it rolls, so no two flicks behave quite the same way.
To Start a Bisikle Race Right Now
- Build your own track to maximize the fun (picture #1)!
- Use a draw to decide the playing order.
- Choose your BiSikle and place it behind the starting line.
- Put the ZBall in front of your BiSikle (picture #2 and #3). Pull your BiSikle off the track (picture #4).
- Flick the ZBall with the finger (picture #5 and #6) and go as far as possible. Use the obstacles and fences to your best advantage...
- Once the ZBall is fully stopped, place your BiSikle behind it.
- Warning! If you fall off the track, you lose your turn. If you knock off another player but manage to stay on the track, you place yourself behind his BiSikle.
- It's now the other player's turn, following the initial order.
- Each new turn starts with the farthest player on the track and finishes with the slowest player.
