Objective
Everyone playing pretends they're single and looking for a soul mate. Your knowledge of your friends' and family's romantic "dos and don'ts" is crucial if you plan to win this game. The player who knows their friends best wins.
Components
- Perk cards — a deck of cards describing an exciting trait a potential lover might have (for example, "They Have A Giant Robot" or "They Own A Moon Colony"), each with several clarifying details listed below the trait.
- Quirk cards — a deck of cards describing a questionable trait a potential lover might have (for example, "They Have An Adult Baby Fetish" or "They Have Two Extra Arms That Are Tentacles"), each with several clarifying details listed below the trait.
- Date cards — used by players to vote that they would date the combination presented.
- Deny cards — used by players to vote that they would deny (reject) the combination presented.
- Blank cards — blank Perk and Quirk cards for players to write their own traits.
Players: 2-10. Ages: 18+ (special cards can be removed for use with teens). Time to play: varies.
How to Play
Whoever's turn it is grabs a Perk card and a Quirk card. The two cards represent a potential lover for them.
Everyone else then votes if that person would Date or Deny the strange combination before them, and why.
Then, the truth is revealed, and it could be pretty shocking!
The player who knows their friends best wins.
Customizing the Deck
Perk and Quirk cards are grouped into categories. Remove the cards you don't want in play:
- Sexy — want to play with your family, or prudes? Take out the Sexy cards!
- Fantasy — want to find out practical things about your friends? Take out the Fantasy cards!
- Reality — don't want things to get too serious? Take out the Reality cards!
