Set Up
- Unfold the game board.
- Sort the bills into three stacks ($1 Zillion, $5 Zillion, and $10 Zillion) to form the Bank.
- Each player chooses a Start-Up Asset (cards with green backs) and places it face-up in front of them. Any remaining Start-Up Assets are returned to the box.
- Shuffle the Asset cards (cards with gold backs) and place them in a face-down deck on the game board. Draw four Assets and place them face-up on the Market area of the game board.
- Shuffle the Biz News cards and place them in a face-down deck on the game board.
- The youngest player goes first. Give them the dice cup and all six dice.
Object
Have the most money when the Bank runs out.
On Your Turn
- Roll all the dice
- All players collect for the Industry Die
- Reroll Number Dice (up to 2 times)
- Collect for the Number Dice
- Buy one Asset
1. Roll All the Dice
There are five Number Dice and one Industry Die.
2. All Players Collect for the Industry Die
All players collect money from the Bank for all Assets they own of the industry rolled. The industries are Sports, Food, Travel, Entertainment, and Technology.
- Collect the amount indicated on each Asset.
- If you own two or more Assets of that industry, collect the Industry Bonus shown on the game board.
- Discard any Stock Assets that you collected money on.
Example: Toby rolled the Entertainment industry symbol. Kate has Entertainment Assets worth $5z, $10z, and $60z. Because she has three Entertainment Assets, she'll also get a $10z Industry Bonus. Kate collects $85z, and then discards the Book Publisher Stock.
NOTE: When collecting money, the rolling player collects first, followed by the player to their left, and so on. This is especially important at the end of the game, when the Bank runs out of money.
If the Biz News symbol is rolled:
- Draw a Biz News card and read it out loud.
- Follow the instructions on the card, then discard it.
- If the Biz News deck is empty, shuffle the discard pile to create a new deck.
About Biz News
All money is paid to the Bank. If you must pay more than you have, return all your money to the Bank and ignore the rest you owe.
- Antitrust Fine: If there is a tie for the industry, choose one of those industries to pay the fine for.
- Bubble Burst: If you roll the Biz News symbol, reroll.
- Demerger: If you roll the Biz News symbol, reroll. If there is a tie for the Asset, choose one of those Assets to discard.
- Liquidation: If you roll the Biz News symbol, reroll. If there is a tie, all tied players must discard those Assets.
- Global Recession: The most money a player will pay is $50z, if they own at least one Asset of each industry.
3. Reroll Number Dice
You may reroll any or all Number Dice up to two times. After your second reroll, you must stop.
4. Collect for the Number Dice
Collect money from the Bank for your last roll. Collect the highest payout shown on the game board that applies to your roll.
Example: Toby rolls 3, 4, 5, 6, 6. He could stop and collect $12z for the Little Straight, but he decides to keep the two 6's and reroll the rest. Toby rerolls 6, 1, 5: He has 3 of a Kind now. Toby keeps the 6 and rerolls the 1 and the 5 to try and get more 6's (keeping 6, 6). Toby rerolls 3, 2: Toby didn't roll the 6's he wanted. He collects $9z for the 3 of a Kind he has after his last roll (6, 6, 6).
Types of Rolls
- 1 Pair: Two dice of the same number (e.g. 1 1 6 5 2)
- 2 Pairs: Two dice of one number and two dice of another number (e.g. 3 3 5 5 1)
- 3 of a Kind: Three dice of the same number (e.g. 4 4 4 6 3)
- Little Straight: Four dice of consecutive numbers (e.g. 2 3 4 5 4)
- Full House: Three dice of one number and two dice of another number (e.g. 2 2 2 6 6)
- 4 of a Kind: Four dice of the same number (e.g. 3 3 3 3 1)
- Big Straight: Five dice of consecutive numbers (e.g. 1 2 3 4 5)
- 5 of a Kind: Five dice of the same number (e.g. 5 5 5 5 5)
5. Buy One Asset
You may buy one Asset from the Market.
- Pay the Bank the amount listed on the Asset, and place it face-up in front of you.
- Draw an Asset from the deck and place it face-up in the Market to replace the one you purchased.
- If the Asset deck is empty, shuffle the discard pile to create a new deck. If there is no discard pile, leave that space in the Market empty and continue playing. The next time an Asset is discarded, fill the empty space in the Market with it.
Ending the Game
Play continues until the Bank runs out. If one stack of bills runs out, continue playing with the remaining stacks.
NOTE: Players may always trade in small bills for larger ones. Players must also make change for the Bank when another player needs to collect smaller bills.
As soon as a player collects the last bill from the Bank, the game is over! If you would have collected more money after the Bank ran out, the additional amount is ignored. All players count their money, and the player with the most money wins.
