- 30 flower tiles
- 30 chips with honey pots:
- 10 tiles each with one, two and three honey pots
- 5 bees with stands
- 1 die with colours
- 1 instruction leaflet
Aim of the Game
The aim is to be the first to collect 10 honey pots by quickly and cleverly placing your bee on the flower tiles that promise the most honey pots.
Setting Up the Game
- Before playing for the first time, carefully press the parts from the sheets. Position the five bees in their stands.
- Randomly arrange the flower tiles in a 6 x 5 tile grid. Each of you chooses a bee and takes it. Put the colour die and chips with the honey pots next to the grid ready.
How to Play
Choose a player to start. He or she takes the colour die and throws it. Depending on the colour rolled on the die, you now all try to position your own bee at the same time.
You're looking for the flower tile whose horizontal and vertical rows contain the most matches with the colour rolled on the die. This includes all flower tiles on which either the flower petals or the centre of the flower correspond to the rolled colour.
But be careful: You must be quick, as only one bee can be put on each flower tile!
Once each of you has placed your bee on a flower tile, the positions are analysed. Together, you check how many correct matches you have each found.
Example
The orange bee is the first to be placed on a flower tile. The rolled colour YELLOW can be found 3x on the vertical flower tiles and 2x on the horizontal tiles. So, there are 5 matches in total.
Handing Out Honey Pots
Then, the chips with the honey pots are handed out. This depends on the number of players and looks like this:
| 1st Place | 2nd Place | 3rd Place | |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 Players | 2 honey pots | ||
| 3 Players | 2 honey pots | 1 honey pot | |
| 4 and 5 Players | 3 honey pots | 2 honey pots | 1 honey pot |
In case of a tie, the players receive the same number of honey pots.
Example for a Game with 3 Players
All the bees are positioned. The analysis creates a distribution of honey pots as follows:
- For the orange bee: 5 matches, 2 honey pots
- For the yellow bee: 4 matches, 1 honey pot
- For the green bee: 3 matches, no honey pot
Next Round
After handing out the honey pots, each player takes their bee back again. Before the next round starts, each player (starting with the player who started) can swap 2 flower tiles with one another.
Then it's the turn of the next player in the clockwise direction to throw the die. Once again, you all place your bee on a flower tile at the same time, and so on.
End of the Game
The game ends as soon as someone has collected 10 honey pots (or more). The player with the most honey pots wins. If the scores are tied, there can be more than one winner.
