How to Play

Working Week

Players will be bidding on working bears that reward victory points or income to bid on more bears. At the end of the 5 days, the player with the most points wins!

In the event of a tie the player with the most number of bears is the winner.

Each player begins with:

  • 3 Gold Coins and 5 Silver Coins

Phase 1: Auction

Bears will be placed face down and flipped over one at a time. The first player to verbally announce their bid has priority. The player who acquired the first bear in the auction day will receive the First Player Token.

In the case of a tie where two or more players bid the same amount at the same time, no one wins the bid. If no player wishes to bid higher, the one with the most amount of coins must bid one more coin.

Upon winning the bid, the player collects the card and places it in front of them. This area is known as their City.

Once all bears have been auctioned off, proceed to Phase 2.

Phase 2: Payday

All players in possession of Income Bears in their City must calculate their total income and collect it from the bank. Players must also account for any Negative Bears that deduct income.

Once all players have collected their income, proceed to Phase 3.

Phase 3: Action

Players are presented with two options: collect 5 income from the bank or draw an action card from the top of the deck to their hand.

The player with the First Player Coin begins this rotation. The player with the First Player Token starts their turn first.

All action cards can only be played during a player's own turn unless stated otherwise on the card. After a player has played their action card(s), their turn is complete. The following turns proceed in a clockwise fashion. You may only hold up to 5 action cards.

This rotation occurs three times.

Upon completion of Phase 3, the cycle restarts at Phase 1.
