Complete game: 30 Question Cards (Green), 25 Illustration Cards (Blue), 80 coins. For 3 or more players, age 6 years and up.
Coins are called Neurons (the coins marked with an "N").
Set-Up
SET-UP: Deal to each player the same number of Neurons (the coins with the "N").
Separate the Question Cards from the Illustration Cards and create two decks, one Green and one Blue.
The best "speaker" will be first Dealer: all other players put a Neuron in the center of the table.
The Dealer gives 3 Question Cards to each player. Then he chooses one of the Illustration cards, not showing it to the other players. He chooses one of the 6 words that is written on the card and says (for example): "You have to guess the 3rd word on this Card." He then places the card on the table, under the Blue deck.
Playing the Game
The first player to the left of the Dealer starts the game and play proceeds clockwise.
On your turn you can make up a question, placing on the table one of your three Question Cards and reading it loud, OR you can give your answer.
If you play a Question Card, the Dealer answers out loud and gives you a new Green Card.
If you give your answer and it is wrong, the game proceeds clockwise. But if you guess the word chosen by the Dealer, you take the Neurons in the center of the table and you become the new Dealer.
The winner is the player that has the highest number of Neurons when one player loses all of his Neurons.
Or, you can play within a maximum time limit or for a certain number of words to guess.
Raise
RAISE: If you are not the Dealer, you can Raise, which means you can add one or more Neurons to the pile in the center of the table. The one who raises has the right to also state his answer out of turn.
Before stating the answer, the other players may equal the Raise and have the opportunity to guess after the attempt of the player who raised, or they can just pass.
If nobody equals the raise, the player who raised takes all the Neurons in the center of the table WITHOUT stating his answer. (It is like winning at poker by bluffing.)
If at least one player equals the raise, the player who raised MUST state his answer. The first player who equals the raise has the opportunity to state his answer, and so on for each successive player who equals the raise.
The first who guesses correctly wins all the Neurons in the center of the table.
If all these players are not able to correctly guess the word, the game goes on normally with many more Neurons to win!
You can also raise at the beginning of your turn, but not immediately after your own question, or it would be a "Self-Assist"!
