How to Play

Locations are a new card type that adds a rule or effect to the Center Row space it occupies.

Locations are shuffled into the Center Deck at the start of the game. Whenever a Location is flipped into the Center Row, continue flipping cards off the Center Deck until you reveal a standard card (Hero, Construct or Monster). Multiple Locations can occupy the same space. Just apply both of their effects to the card on top of them.

Location Cards

Each Location card is listed below by its printed name. The pack holds twelve Location cards, two of each of the six listed here.

Cetra's Shrine

Location

Cards in this space have Rally for their faction. (When a card in this space is acquired or defeated, if the card that replaces it shares a faction, you may acquire or defeat it without paying its cost.)

Stone Circle

Location

Heroes in this space cost Power 2 less to acquire, to a minimum of Power 1.

Path of Trials

Location

When a card in this space is acquired or defeated, acquire or defeat the card that replaces it without paying its cost. Then banish this Location.

Hedron Sanctum

Location

Constructs in this space cost Power 2 less to acquire, to a minimum of Power 1.

Arha Dojo

Location

When you acquire or defeat a card in this space, you may acquire a Mystic or Heavy Infantry without paying its cost.

Rift's Edge

Location

Monsters in this space cost Attack 2 less to defeat, to a minimum of Attack 1.

Note: the card faces show the cost icons as a triangle (Power) and a round seal (Attack). The triangle and seal are written here as "Power" and "Attack" by their use in the text (acquiring costs Power, defeating costs Attack); the printed numbers are kept as shown.
