Contents

  • 18 train tiles (curves and carriages), distributed as follows:
    • 6 curve tiles
    • 3 carriage tiles in each of 4 colours (blue, red, green, purple)

Setup

Shuffle the train tiles together with the other tiles.

During the Game

When a player takes a delivery truck that contains one or more train tiles, he must place those tiles in his water zoo.

The first train tile must be placed on any empty space. Each further train tile must be placed next to a train tile that has already been placed. A player may not have more than one train line within his water zoo.

A player may also place a train tile so that the line can no longer be continued (for example, where it ends at a basin). This is permitted, although it is not the best choice.

If a player does not place a train tile from the delivery truck into his water zoo, it goes to the bottom of the tiles in his depot.

Train tiles in the depot may not be removed from it by using a money action.

Scoring

Use the scoring of the base Aquaretto rules with the following additions:

  • Each different type of train tile in a player's water zoo (the curve and each of the 4 differently coloured carriages) is worth 2 points at game end.
  • Each different type of train tile in a player's depot (the curve and each of the 4 differently coloured carriages) is worth minus 2 points at game end. The manager halves these minus points, as in the base rules.
