Components
9 Advanced Fish Tokens (1 Finless Porpoise, 4 Nautiluses, 4 Longnose Hawkfishes)
3 Advanced Fish Rule Cards
7 Additional Seaweed Tokens
4 New Tank Tiles (front and back)
Note on the Advanced Rules
- When advanced fish tokens are moved to the sea board, the cost of additional purchases for those fishes are the same as normal fishes, 2 funds per token.
- Until you are familiar with the game, it is recommended that you use only 3 types of advanced fish tokens. If you are already familiar with the game, you may as well try to increase the number of advanced fishes to 6 types.
Additional Setup
- Place all additional seaweed tokens on the sea board. These can be purchased and placed in the same way as normal seaweed tokens.
- Each player receives one new tank tile and places it face down on the left edge of their aquarium board.
New Tank Tile
No tokens can be placed on the new tank tile as long as the tank is facing down. During the game, when you have all 6 regular fish tokens on your aquarium board, flip your new tank face up. It will stay facing up until the end of the game. This will be the aquarium's seventh tank (hereafter referred to as "New Tank").
The new tank is considered adjacent only to the leftmost carpet. Other than this, the new tanks follow all the same rules as regular tanks.
