Components
The expansion contains 4 new Miniatures, 2 new Character cards and 2 new Mission cards.
New Mission Cards
Each new Mission card has three parts: Special Condition, To Complete this Mission, and Reward.
What Do Androids Dream?
Special Condition
Place the blue Boss token taken in the Control Room (Control Room icon). It represents the Defense Droid.
The Defense Droid is treated as a [creature-type icon; not legible at this resolution], and it does not count towards the Limit of Creatures on the same Level. It always uses the Nightmare Combat Stats.
At the end of a Round, if the distance between the Defense Droid and the Hero is 3 or less, it will attack with 2 Attack dice [icon read as attack dice; low confidence].
To Complete this Mission
Reach the Control Room (Control Room icon) and perform 1 Interact Action to send an EMP and damage the Defense Droid, OR Kill the Defense Droid.
Reward
If this is the first Starting [text obscured by the overlapping card] Rewards and trigger the F[text obscured].
If you send the EMP, the [text obscured] Defense Droid, you ga[text obscured].
Additionally, if you Kill [text obscured] discard pile for the D[text obscured] the deck if you search it.
A Watcher from the Dark
Special Condition
Place the blue Boss token taken in the Generator Room (Generator Room icon). It represents the Alpha Parasite.
The Alpha Parasite is treated as a [creature-type icon; not legible at this resolution], and it does not count towards the Limit of Creatures on the same Level. It always uses the Nightmare Parasite Stats.
As long as the Alpha Parasite is on the Map, the Evil players can spawn [creature-type icon; not legible at this resolution] in Sectors adjacent to the Alpha Parasite, ignoring the Minimum Spawning Distance.
To Complete this Mission
Reach the Generator Room (Generator Room icon) and perform 1 Interact Action to destroy the nest, OR Kill the Alpha Parasite.
Reward
If this is the first Starting Mission you complete, collect the Mid-Game Rewards and trigger the Final Mission.
If you destroy the nest, the Alpha Parasite takes 1 Wound. If this kills the Alpha Parasite, you gain 2 Experience Points even if it was Unrevealed.
Additionally, if you Kill the Alpha Parasite, search the item deck or the discard pile for the Adrenaline Injector and add it to your Inventory (reshuffle the deck if you search it).
New Character Cards
Sniper Suit
Hero Ability
Whenever you perform an Attack Action with a Bullets Item, you can reroll all Miss results.
Anti-Grav Suit
Hero Ability
Whenever you spend an Adrenaline token to perform a Move Action, you can move 1 additional Sector. If you do, the Evil players may place 1 Danger token in any Sector (except the Hero's Sector).
Transcription Notes
- The expansion's text is taken from a low-resolution box-back print. Words marked as obscured or not legible could not be read, and were not filled in from memory or from the base game.
- In the Reward section of "What Do Androids Dream?", the upper part of the card is overlapped by the "A Watcher from the Dark" card. Only the visible fragments are transcribed.
- The card prints "Attack Action" for the Sniper Suit ability; the base rulebook calls this action the Fight Action. The printed name is kept.
- The creature-type icons on the Defense Droid and Alpha Parasite cards, and the attack icon after "attack with 2", are too small to identify reliably, so they are marked as such rather than named.
- The Danger symbol on the Anti-Grav Suit card is rendered as "Danger token", matching the base rulebook's name for that symbol.
