Can the person on Meeting Place be moved or sent home during the round, and can the starting player token be taken from me?
No — Meeting Place holds one person who stays until the returning home phase, so effects cannot swap or remove that person. Meeting Place is also excluded from effects that would make the holder of the starting player token lose it, so nobody can take the token while you hold the space.
