Is stone on Rock Garden a crop, and does Rock Garden count as three fields?
The publisher ruled on the crop question; the field counts come from player replies.

Stone is not a vegetable or crop, so Apiary and other crop effects do not apply even though stone is sown and harvested like a vegetable. Rock Garden counts as one field for prerequisites (not three), and neither it nor Artichoke Field counts for end-game field points, only plowed tiles do. Unharvested stone on it does not trigger Alchemist's Lab.
