New Cards
The new cards in the Allies expansion set are shuffled into their corresponding Seal of Evil decks. They allow players to gain new companions to help in battles. But beware: along with the new Allies come new enemies and dangers.
New Town Items
This expansion set also includes 3 new Town Items cards. They should be added to the corresponding stack so that any Hero can buy them from the Blacksmith. Please note that these new cards are not quite item cards; they are Ally cards. Apart from this fact, they are ordinary Town Items in every respect.
Card Notes
Carla, the Blacksmith's Wife
This Ally allows the Hero to pay 1 Investigation less when buying any Town Items from the Blacksmith in town. This covers any Ally cards among the Town Items (for example, Militia Soldier). This effect does not apply to Monastery Items, which can be bought at the Monastery on the Lake of Echoes space in the Something Wicked expansion.
Retinue
This card allows the Hero to take up to two additional Allies with them from the decks of any Corner Location or from the Town Items stack. These 2 additional Allies count as an addition to the normal carrying limit (1 card from each Corner Location and up to 3 cards from the Town Items stack).
Translator's Note
Translator's note: the card names "Carla, the Blacksmith's Wife", "Militia Soldier" and "Retinue" are given as they appear on the sheet, and "Militia" follows the base game's term. The other card names in the Contents ("Delaney, the Maid", "Horror in the Night", "Ben, the Guard", "Feast Place", "Red Shadow", "Ghost in Chains", "Puzzle Chain", "Subjugation", "Watch Captain") are back-translated from the Russian and have not been checked against an English printing. The Corner Location names are rendered with the base game's English names: "Olde Woods" for the sheet's "Ancient Forest" and "Abandoned Keep" for its "Abandoned Fortress", as in the Hero Pack 1 and Madness rulebooks. The sheet's "Городские товары" is rendered as "Town Items", the base game's term. "Seal of Evil decks" and "Lake of Echoes" are kept as the sheet has them, and "Something Wicked" is the English title of the Russian "Что-то страшное". The illustration caption on the sheet, the list of credits, and the copyright line are not transcribed.
