What happens if the Villagers 0 card is drawn when you lose a Villagers card, such as with the Nixies?

Shuffle the 0 back into the Villagers deck and you lose nothing. For the Nixies the designer says the intent is to keep redrawing until a non-zero card comes up, which you then lose.
