If the Shadow reactivates one of its own battlegrounds, does it lose any corruption it gained?
No. Corruption gained earlier is not reversed on reactivation. In the base game the Shadow gains corruption only from paths, which cannot be reactivated, and the War in the North scenario has its own special rules.
