What do Crests do?
Based on a single player reply that fits the rules; there is no official ruling.

Each Tome shows 1 or 2 Crests. The first player to gather 3 Crests of one type (4 in a 2-player game) collects the matching Crest Tome as an extra Tome. Crest Tokens from 2nd or 3rd place also count toward the set.
