For a mission asking for 1 plus 1 per player, how many do I need in two-player and solo games?
The designer confirmed the solo case, and the same formula applies to two players.

One more than the number of players: 3 in a two-player game and 2 solo. It is a group total, location does not matter, and one player may hold them all.
