How do I remove a curse from my grid?
The designer answered, consistent with the rulebook.

You can't get rid of a curse by choice. You must find a way in the world (such as a location action) to remove it. If your grid is full when you gain one, you make room by moving a card to your reserve, or discarding one if the reserve is full.
