Do later effects still change a value after Deduce Strategy sets it?
Yes. Deduce sets the attack to 1 first; Momentous Shift then sets it to 5, and Holmes's ability only stops his effects being cancelled, not changed. Alice's +2 is added on top of Deduce's new number.
