Are buried cards under an attraction hidden from other players or visible?
The rulebook's BURY entry answers this directly and is stricter than an older publisher comment.

The cards are face-down, so their faces are hidden, but the number of buried cards must stay visible to your opponents. The rulebook says buried cards cannot be concealed completely from view, and Golden Rule 3 makes card counts public. An early publisher comment allowed tucking them behind the attraction to obscure the count, but the rulebook is stricter, so follow it and report the count whenever asked.
