When does the Scientist assistant's permanent effect trigger?
Only when you actually take science, not every time you occupy one of its slots; the rulebook words it as whenever an action slot gives you at least 1 science. Players also count a card that lets you take a yellow slot science action directly, but the designer did not rule on that.
