No seat bonus exists: each player only gets what is shown on the two tiles they keep, so later seats simply pick corn-heavy tiles. Technology advances on a tile are free and applied immediately at the start of the game. Tiles with a lasting effect, such as the farm-like ones that make a worker cheaper to feed, stay in front of you and apply during play. The action spaces printed at the bottom of the tiles are only used to place dummy workers.
