Which Location slots are used in 2-, 3- and 4-player games?

The 3-player and 4-player slot icons mean that slot is used only at that player count (all slots in a 4-player game; everything but the 4-player slot in a 3-player game). The base-game rulebook has an extra 2-player setup note about blocking spaces, but it applies only if you are playing neither Duel of Magicians nor Dahlgaard's Academy, since each has its own way of blocking spaces. The '0+' slots give no extra AP.
