Who receives Link bonuses: the placer or the performer?
The designer confirmed the owner gets the bonus when placing and the performer gets all bonuses.

Both, at different moments. The player who sets up a trick and creates a Link gets that Link's bonus immediately; a Link circle with a shard symbol also gives a shard to the other owner. When the card is performed, the performing Magician gets +1 Fame for every Link on the card, whoever created them. The first marker on an empty card cannot score a Link bonus.
