Gifts adds Magician Powers, Duel of Magicians, extra Special Assignment cards and more, and is not included in retail copies (Kickstarter copies include it). The Dark Alley is all-or-nothing because the board flips, but Magician Powers can be added to a Dark Alley game and cannot be used with the base board. The solo Heir does not use Powers, so Gifts is not meant for solo play, though its Duel performance cards can be reused.
