How often can contraptions be used or built?
The designer confirmed the once-per-turn rule and the Spiritual contraption wording.
Each Contraption can be used once per turn, before placing a Character, and you can use one, several or none; some Special Assignment cards let you reactivate one. You may activate all four on one placement, except one school limits you to one per placement. Build Contraption can be repeated if you have the AP and coins, activation is in any order, and contraptions reactivate in the final End Turn so reactivation Fame scores. Spiritual Contraption Level 3 sets only the die you take the action with.
