After my partner plays the Dog, can I pass, or play a bomb as the lead?
Several players agree; the rulebook says only that the lead passes to the partner.

You cannot pass, because you now hold the lead and must lead something. Any legal combination is allowed, including a bomb, and the Dog is not a trick you must beat.
