What happens if both teams reach 1000 in the same hand?
The rulebook states the win and tie rule.

The team with the most points wins. If they are tied, play continues hand by hand until a hand ends with one team ahead and at least 1000. The rulebook says the game goes to the first team at or past 1000 at the end of a round.
