If losing a unit means a Tactics card's requirement is no longer met, is the Tactic removed? What about older units?

The Tactic stays in play; you simply lose its bonus until you rebuild the units. Units more than one Age older than a Tactics card only earn the lesser bonus in parentheses, while newer units work with older Tactics without penalty.
