When a card says to lose yellow or blue tokens, where do they go?

Yellow and blue tokens go back to your own Yellow or Blue Bank, or to the opponent when a card transfers them (War over Territory, Uncertain Borders), not to the box, unless a card explicitly says to remove them (such as end of an Age). Food and resources taken in a war or aggression are moved between banks, and corruption and consumption do not apply to them.
